Dr. Priyadarshi H. Doctor passed his M.B.B.S., ranked first in the examinations with awards in various categories. After completing his M.S. from J.J. Hospital with distinction and repeating his Gold Medals sweep for General Surgery, he went to UK for further training during the course of which he was awarded Scholarships for training at Rowley & Whipps Cross Hospital U.K.

He manage's business development for a european health care chain, has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented several papers at national and international conferences. He has the World’s largest study on Adipose Tissue for research purposes.He was Co-author for the first study on effect of YAG laser in diabetic patients on Cerebral Circulation. He is also the Youngest Indian to win the ORBIS Medal. (2010)
Dr. Rao joined the faculty of Electrical Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology/Madras, Chennai in 1969 after his return from USA where he was a a Post-doctoral Fellow at University of Illinois. He joined the Sri Ramachandra University (SRU), Chennai in 1999 as Research Professor where he established an Inter-disciplinary Research Laboratory. He has been granted an Indo-French sponsored research project on Brain Asymmetry which he has successfully completed. He has collaborated with various clinical departments in SRU which has resulted in several research papers and IPRs.With 37 years of research experience, and several patents to his credit; he spearheads the biomedical engineering research division at Bay View.
Dr. Mukunda Rao
Dr. Marita has over 25 years of research experience both as a scientist and as a professor. With expertise in medical biochemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology and diagnostics, she oversees the biology consultancy services at Bay View Clinic. After receiving post-doctoral training in the US she has held various prominent positions including principal scientist in the R & D of a 100 bedded hospital, Asst. Manager and Senior Director in Pharma companies. Her main focus has been in the area of Diabetes and Metabolic disorders. She has been actively involved in the clinical development of several NCE drugs. Dr. Marita has published 30 research articles, two chapters in the Textbook of Diabetes and holds 3 patents. Her research focus includes drug discovery involving both NCEs and herbal drugs/formulations in diabetes and metabolic disorders.

Dr. Phillips has 25 years of experience as a Professor of Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders. Being trained as a clinician scientist with extensive clinical and research knowledge, Dr. Phillips will head translational research into Diabetes and metabolic disorder at Bay View. He has held various positions, as a physician and professor at Southampton General Hospital, UK, adjunct Professor, University of Toronto, Canada and Visiting professor in several institutions. Dr. Phillips has over 250 publications to his credit and is a popular figure in medical discussions.

He will be operating as BVAS’s regional head for GCC & MENA Region.
Dr. Debashish BhattacharyaA Biotechnology graduate, Vipranarayanan completed his PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad. After working for a few years in Investment Banking, Vipra took up a senior management role in the CRAMS division of an Indian Pharmaceutical Company and eventually went on to head the Strategy function for the company. Vipra currently heads Business Development for a Bangalore based Nutraceutical Company specializing in Carotenoids.
